These terms set out the general basis on which Meadowlark Florals provides floral design and related services. Your quote, proposal and booking correspondence may include additional terms specific to your event.
Quotes and proposals
Quotes are based on the information available at the time they are prepared. Prices may change if quantities, venue requirements, timings, delivery needs, installation requirements or the overall brief changes. An estimate produced by the wedding calculator is a guide only and is not a final quotation.
Bookings and payments
A date is not treated as secured until the required booking payment has been received and Meadowlark Florals has confirmed the booking. Any payment schedule and balance due date will be set out in your individual quote or proposal.
Flowers and substitutions
Flowers are natural and seasonal products. Exact varieties, shades, shapes and sizes cannot always be guaranteed. If a particular flower is unavailable or unsuitable, a thoughtful substitution may be made to preserve the agreed style, colour palette, quality and value as closely as possible.
Changes to your order
Please request changes as early as possible. Changes are subject to availability and may affect the final price. Significant increases, reductions or design changes may require a revised proposal.
Cancellations
Cancellation arrangements, including the treatment of booking payments and any costs already committed on your behalf, will be explained in the terms supplied with your individual booking. Where flowers, materials or labour have already been ordered or committed, those costs may not be recoverable.
Delivery, installation and collection
Where delivery, installation or collection is included, timings and venue access requirements will be agreed in advance. The client is responsible for ensuring suitable access, permissions and any required venue arrangements are in place.
Hire items and containers
Where vessels, mechanics or other items are supplied on a hire or return basis, they remain the property of Meadowlark Florals unless otherwise stated. The client may be responsible for replacement costs where hired items are lost, damaged or not made available for collection.
Photographs
Unless you ask us not to, Meadowlark Florals may photograph finished floral work for portfolio, website and social-media use. We will respect any reasonable privacy request made before the event.
Events beyond our control
We will always make reasonable efforts to fulfil an agreed booking. Where circumstances beyond reasonable control affect flower availability, travel, venue access or safe delivery, we may need to make appropriate substitutions or adjustments.
Liability
We take reasonable care in designing, preparing, transporting and installing floral work. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful.
